Join me at the Italian American Museum in Little Italy, on Saturday, October 14th at 3pm.

I will talk about my Italian roots and how they continue to shape my career as a video journalist.

We will have a private screening of an upcoming 5-minute PBS feature called “The Making of a Maestro, from Castelfranco to Carnegie Hall” about a global music figure who shares roots in my small Italian village in the Campania region.

Sir Antonio Pappano will be making his Carnegie Hall debut on Oct 20/21 as part of a four city tour with Rome’s Santa Cecilia Symphony Orchestra.

The piece takes an intimate look at Antonio’s backstory, through an extraordinary symphony concert that he gives in memory of his father.

“Tony” very graciously provided me with generous access to help illustrate all angles of his very endearing and revealing narrative.

The report is a visually stunning and highly personal tale about the universality of music, the immigrant work ethic and the pull of our roots, which inspires one to do both great and small things.
