AAA projects that the number of year-end holiday travelers in 2015 will top 100 million for the first time – meaning nearly one in three Americans will be packing their bags.
The figures are a 1.4 percent increase from last year and the seventh consecutive year of holiday travel growth.
About 91 million people are expected to get behind the wheel to get to their destinations, while 5.8 million will take to the skies. The rest will travel by way of cruises, buses, and trains.
